Restaurant Review

This new Freehold Italian BYOB restaurant located in a Victorian home on Main Street, opened in late 2009 and early reports indicate that in a town over populated with mediocre Italian restaurants, except for it's good price value, Fanelli's is below par when compared with other Italian restaurants in the Freehold area.

Prior to ordering, the server presents a basket with several pieces warm, dry, toasted bread accompanied by a dish of olive oil with small olives. If looking for dishes that are a cut above their basic menu selections, it is suggested that selections be made from the specials of the day.

The wait staff at Fanellis is limited, often rushed, and less than professional.

There is on site parking in the rear. They are kid friendly
