Opened in 2007 by Owner-Chef Alex Capasso, a 34 year old native of Trenton, this new restaurant has become an instant hit serving up contemporary French and Italian dishes with a hint of Asia. The restaurant's decor is a bistro with a modern soft elegant style adorned with wood and glass accents, polished walnut floors, mustard toned walls, raided-leather banquettes, and framed black-and-white photos of kitchen friends and family taken by Capasso. Capasso has teamed up with Chef de cuisine, William Connelly to put together a well prepared, imaginative menu with fresh local ingredients to produce very flavorful dishes. While the menu is somewhat limited, the are ample choices to please a variety of tastes. They offer a seasonal menu and when available, for starters the popular dishes are: Peanut Sesame Crusted Thai Chicken Spring Rolls with spicy mustard and For dinner entrees, the popular favorites are: Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass, with creamy olive polenta and provencal sauce; or the Corriander Crusted Tenderloin of Lamb with lavender scented jasmine rice, curried cauliflower, natural lamb jus, and a mint essence. They also offer tasty pasta dishes, try the Parpadelle shrimp bolognese. The service is attentive and friendly. |
