Restaurant Review |
|||||||||
This historic wildwood landmark remains one of the better family restaurants in a town loaded with mediocre family restaurants. The restaurant has been there since 1925 and is conveniently located off the boardwalk. While it still maintains its original decor, it remains popular because of its family, children friendly atmosphere, and good basic cooking at a reasonable price. Popular entree favorites are the NY Strip Steak, Roast Turkey with potato filling and gravy, Baked Ham with raisin cider sauce, Crab Imperial with lump crab meat in a creamy sauce, New Jersey Clam Cakes broiled or fried, and Lobster Tail served with melted butter. Their glazed pies are popular desserts. Be prepared for a 1-2 hour waiting time during the peak summer months . |
