The Boathouse Restaurant is a popular Wildwood eatery. The main reason you come here is for the waterfront view, drinks, and for reasonably priced food. It's especially enjoyed for watching the sunset over the water.
This is a casual restaurant with a typical Jersey Shore menu of seafood, sandwiches, meats, and burgers. The food is basic and mediocre.
The place gets very crowded during the summer months with long waits, oftentimes over 1 hour.
While waiting for your table, check in at the bar area for a good variety of beers and cocktails.
They offer an attractively priced 2 dinner Sunset Special menu from 4:00PM - 5:30PM daily.
They are child and family friendly with a kids menu.
The Boathouse Restaurant operates on seasonal hours, with an opening the first weekend in May.
