Restaurant Review

The MudHen Brewing Co., the only Brew Pub in Wildwood, is a popular family-friendly spot for home brewed craft beers, good food, and live entertainment, in a trendy, festive atmosphere.

The MudHen Brewing Co. is the creation of local entrepreneur Brendan Sciarra who has taken an abandoned Harley-Davidson dealership in Wildwood and converted it into a sprawling festive brewery. Sciarra is also the owner of the Dogtooth Bar & Grill and Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza in Wildwood.

The 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor seating, has 4 full bars, spread over the main dining room, garage, cozy upstairs bar/rec room, biergarten, and outdoor patio.

At the main bar, patrons can get a glimpse into the 127-barrel brewery where the home brewed craft beers are created.

The kitchen is run by famed TV personality and Executive Chef Brian Duffy. Chef Duffy has gained fame with television appearances on the popular Spike TV series Bar Rescue, where he tours the country (sometimes on his Harley Davidson) reforming failing bars and restaurants with his “tell it like it is” style. He has appeared on segments on the DIY Network, HGTV, NBC, and Fine Living Network. Chef Duffy is also a regular judge on the Food Network series Beat Bobby Flay and appeared on The Today Show.

The menu at the MudHen is well executed with a large variety of salads, appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, mac & cheese, smoked BBQ platters, entrees, desserts, and a kids menu. vegan and vegetarian options are available.

During the warmer months, the festive atmosphere heats up with the opening of outdoor seating with a bar, a cool firepit, and cornhole games. Pups are welcome on the patio.

Open year round, The Mud Hen Brewing Co is open daily for Lunch and dinner. Happy Hour every Monday-Thursday from 2PM-4PM.
