Hi Jay;
You are to be congratulated, you have already done the top three indoor overnight events for kids in NJ, and there is little else on the same scale.
However I can add some suggestions:
You may want to consider renting out a campground with heated cabins, rec rooms & dining hall as the venue and either working with the campground to build a themed trip or hire a professional program leader or entertainer to come in an run a themed program.
You can contact:
Alison Fisk
YMCA Camp Ralph S. Mason
23 Birch Ridge Road
Hardwick, NJ
(908) 362-8217
I am also associated with Camp Quality New Jersey, a charitable organization for kids with cancer, and they have an annual, overnight winter teen program at Camp Mason, and we have found the facilities to be excellent and the staff easy to work with.

Alternatively, you may want to contact:
Crystal Springs Resort
Route 94 & Chamonix Drive
Vernon, NJ
(973) 827-5996
They may be able to work with you to provide a custom, themed, overnight package for your group.

Hope this helps,
Frank Dalotto

Where Can I celebrate My 1 Year Old Daughter's Birthday

by palina
(piscatway nj)

Is there any place where I celebrate my 1 yr old daughter's birthday and the adults can enjoy too.
I also have a six year old daughter and guests of all of all ages.

Frank's Reply:
Hi Palina;
I'm not sure what you have in mind for a celebration, or the size of your group, or the amount you wish to spend.

I can offer two suggestions;
1) If you are looking for a place to host your party and provide food, I suggest you call a number of local restaurants who offer a private room for your party.

2) If you have a group with many kids and are looking for all to have fun, you can try this link to Kids Birthday Places

Looking for a Kid's Fun place in the Cherry Hill Area

Hi. Apparently there is a place in South Jersey with the same concept as The Funplex on Rt. 38, Mt. Laurel. They say all of the attractions are inside. Can you tell me the name and where it might be? Possibly Cherry Hill area.
Thank you.

Hi;
To the best of my knowledge, there are no other indoor kids fun attractions in South Jersey, near the Cherry Hiil area, that are similiar to Funplex.

However, there is Clementon Park in Clemonton, NJ, a major amusement park with roller coasters, thrill rides, and children's rides like Formula 3000, Safari Train, Playport, Flying Elephants, Space Age, Combo Umbrella Ride, Castle Bounce. They also have a water park.For information contact (856) 783-0263, [email protected], http://www.clementonpark.com/attractions08.html

What Parks In NJ Allow Bouncy Houses

(North Bergen NJ)

What parks in Northern NJ Allow Bouncy Houses?

Frank's Reply:
Hi Adlin,
State, County, and Municipal parks in New Jersey have very tight restrictions on allowing bouncy Houses.

If you are planning to have a kids private party or a family event, you might want to try a private camp ground that can host you event.

Here are some sites that offer alternatives:

Private Camp Grounds or if an indoor venue is acceptable, try a place that will host a kids party

Is There An Affordable Way To Introduce Kids To Golf?

by Irene
(Manalapan, nj)

I have three kids and we live in Manalapan, NJ. I would like to introduce them to golf is there an affordable way to do this? They range in ages 8-15.
Thanks

Frank's Reply
Hi Irene;
Many recreation departments and most public golf facilities know of or offer junior programs that provide instruction and shorter courses geared to children.

The U.S. Kids Golf Foundation has a program to provide kids and their families the opportunity to participate in the game of golf through instruction and competition. Participating golf courses strive to provide:
• Pace of play will never become an issue with families or kids.
• A course within a course provides a simple solution to encourage family play.
• Kids and all beginners will have more fun by shooting low scores—making your course a desirable destination for families to spend time together.

Local Manalapan, NJ area golf clubs participating in this program are:

Eagle Ridge Golf Club
2 Augusta Blvd
Lakewood, 08701
732-901-4900

Woodlake Golf Club
25 New Hampshire Ave
Lakewood
732-367-4500

Pine Barrens Golf Club

Carnival Games & Bouncy Houses for a Birthday Party at a NJ Park

by tiaira
(Irvington NJ)

Hi,
Do you know if South Mountain Reservation allows carnival games and bouncy houses?

Also do you know of any NJ venues that have rides, carnival games, bouncy houses etc., where you can have the party on site?

I want to throw a carnival themed party for my 1yr old in July and am looking for a place to bring the rides, games, and food or a venue provides all that and we can just go there that would be awesome.

Thanks

Frank's Reply
Hi Tiara,

South Mountain Reservation may accommodate your request for bouncy houses and other types carnival games. However, this request must be made by specifying the type of carnival games through the Picnic permit process at South Mountain Reservation Picnic Permit

Be advised though that most State, County, and Municipal parks in New Jersey have very tight restrictions on allowing bouncy Houses.

If you are planning to have a kids private party or a family event, you might want to try a private venue that can host you event.

Here are some sites that offer alternatives:
Private Party Venues
Private Campgrounds

Wishing you the best,

Frank
