This BYOB Princeton favorite is a popular choice for area residents and college student parents who want the best food in Princeton and are willing to pay a top price. The atmosphere is softly lit and warm, in a "New York" style casual setting. Tables are closely spaced into nooks and decorated with candlelight and white tablecloths. The background of dark green and red mahogany walls, and soft lighting, add to a feeling of casual elegance. However, if you are looking for a romantic, intimate dinner for two, the seating may be too close for your pleasure Chef Bobby Trigg serves refined, innovative new American cuisine with a subtle French fusion. The menu is limited but the waiter will recite the specials and the ingredients before leaving you with the menu. Their signature appetizer, a popular favorite is the lump crab margarita with a base of creamy avocado, cilantro and chopped chili peppers, and if your prefer more seasoning, you can lick the rim of your margarita glass dusted with Cajun spices. The signature dishes are the New Zealand lamb and yellow fin tuna, both excellently prepared and popular. Vegetarian and low fat dishes are available The staff is well managed and friendly. |
