One of the best seafood restaurants in the Asbury Park/Ocean Grove area, and clearly the best in Ocean Grove

Not Recommended For: Diners who enjoy fried seafood and comfort dishes.
Recommended dishes: When available, The Wasabi Pea Crusted Ahi Tuna with Ginger soy glaze, horseradish cream, truffle potatoes, sugar snap peas, seaweed slaw: The Seared Jumbo Day Boat Sea Scallops over pea, tomato & asparagus risotto; and The New Zealand Lamb Rack Marinated, root vegetable mash, mint-basil pesto,Candied red pearl onions; For an appetizer, try the New England Clam Chowder.
The SeaGrass Restaurant, located on Main Street in Ocean Grove, a town with a few fine dining restaurants, --- this is clearly the best. Popular with diners who enjoy well prepared seafood dishes using fresh farm to table ingredients, and locally caught seafood when available.
The restaurant is owned and operated Executive Chef Janine Cinseruli and business partner, Kimberly Perkins.
The New American, seasonally changing menu features simply prepared, seafood, great steaks, chops, vegetarian, and gluten free dishes .using fresh farm to table organic produce, and locally caught seafood when available.
The ambiance is modern, upscale, yet casual. There is huge fish tank at the entrance that sends the message that you are here for the seafood.
For a romantic occasion with quiet conversation, ask to be seated in one of the two tables by the window, or outside during the summer.
Service is warm, professional and attentive.
SeaGrass Restaurant does not take reservations. During the summer months expect to wait a while for a table, (especially if there is a performance at the Great Auditorium).
During the warmer months there is outdoor sidewalk dining. Great for enjoying people watching and the artsy Ocean Grove scene.
Also during the summer months street parking is limited, you may have to walk several blocks to find a spot.
The SeaGrass Restaurant is open five days/week.
