SeaGrass Restaurant, nestled on Main Street in the charming seaside town of Ocean Grove, stands out as one of the few fine dining options in Ocean Grove. It's a favorite among diners who appreciate expertly prepared seafood made with fresh, locally caught fish and farm-to-table ingredients.
Owned and operated by Executive Chef Janine Cinseruli and her business partner Kimberly Perkins, SeaGrass offers a New American menu that changes with the seasons.
The kitchen emphasizes simplicity and freshness, featuring seafood, prime steaks, chops, and a variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options—all crafted with organic, locally sourced produce whenever possible.
The atmosphere is modern and upscale, yet relaxed. A large fish tank near the entrance sets the tone: you’re here for great seafood. For a romantic evening, request one of the cozy window tables or opt for outdoor seating in the warmer months.
Service is warm, professional, and attentive. Sidewalk dining during summer is perfect for soaking in the artsy Ocean Grove vibe and watching the world go by.
Be aware, however, that parking can be a challenge in the summer—you might need to walk a few blocks.
SeaGrass does not accept reservations, so during peak season (especially on nights with performances at the nearby Great Auditorium), be prepared for a wait.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on a seasonal schedule.
