Restaurant Review

Maggiano's is a national chain restaurant specializing in "family style" dining, offering a menu of both traditional and contemporary Italian - American dishes.

The restaurant is very popular with groups of four or more either celebrating a special occasion, or for people with a hearty appetite looking for an out of the ordinary dining experience.

The Menu selections are made-from-scratch daily, using fresh ingredients

Despite being a chain restaurant, the quality of the food is a step above most of the other "middle tier" national franchised Italian restaurants.

Maggiano's is known for their family menu for parties of 4 or more, priced per person. Parties of 10 or more are requested to order family style. The portions are huge, you will not leave this place craving for more..

They are conscious of food allergies and offer a large variety of gluten free entrees. They also offer "Lighter Take" menu items with calorie amounts listed.

The dining area has an energetic atmosphere with open seating, though not conducive for a cozy intimate dining experience

Maggiano's is Child friendly offering a kids menu with eight entrees.

Maggiano's is open seven days/week: Sunday - Thursday from 11:30 am - 10:00 pm, Friday    & Saturday from 11:30 am - 11:00 pm

They are have a choice of banquets rooms that can accommodate private functions of any size including large weddings

How Do We Review (analyze) Restaurants?

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide objective restaurant reviews .

The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.

Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick",  and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
