Restaurant Review

Buddakan is an excellent Asian-Fusion restaurant operated by the famed Stephan Starr restaurant group with locations in NYC and Philadelphia.

This is destination restaurant that is ideal for diners looking for a memorable experience either for an intimate romantic occasion or for celebrating a special occasion.

The menu features influences from China, Japan, Thailand, and Korea that come together to provide creatively prepared, and artfully presented dishes.

The restaurant is located on the third floor of the The Playground in a spacious setting. The interior decor is extra ordinary --- posh, Hollywood style with it's dimly lit blend of Asian with a trendy NYC vibe.

The centerpiece of the main dining area is the giant gold Buddha statue on the top end of table overseeing the diners.

There are several private dining areas located around the main dining area as well as an upstairs. The booths on the sides of the main seating area are ideal for a romantic occasion or a private function with friends. They have bench seating with soft cushions and throw pillows. The booths are surrounded with gold beads and chiffon.

Buddakan is open seven days/week
