Restaurant Review

The River House in Brielle, NJ is a popular seasonal Jersey Shore spot for meeting up with friends for a beer, cocktails, live music, and a bite to eat on the dockside deck taking in scenic waterfront views..

Located along the Manasquan River, The River House has scenic panoramic waterfront views of the Atlantic Ocean, Manasquan Inlet, and the Manasquan River --- in one sweeping view.

Open seasonally, it is closed during the winter months. It's located on the first floor of the Brielle Yact Club, a banquet hall popular with weddings and celebrations.

The interior dining area has recently undergone a renovation with a fresh, subtle nautical theme. Every seat has a scenic view of the harbor.

The menu offers a variety of options including pizza , wraps, burgers, and steak and seafood entrée's. However, this is not a place to come for gourmet food, The kitchen stands under the shadows of the banquet hall with entrees of banquet lacking any inspiration..

During the warmer months, the place to be is on the outside dockside deck with a bar and live music. On busy summer weekend nights be prepared for crowds seated among closely spaced tables attempting to talk over loud music .
