New jersey is fortunate to have many impressive Jersey Shore Ocean/beach front fireworks displays with ideally located venues for up close viewing.

While many New Jersey July 4th fireworks celebrations take place in community parks, high schools, and other local public spaces, and are attended by residents that bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating, the restaurants listed here offer an alternative for optimum fireworks viewing and enjoyment.

The fireworks in the towns described below tend to be much larger, with many having fireworks launched offshore from a barge. The venues listed offer comfortable seating, with alcohol, food, and other amenities, for optimum enjoyment.

Asbury Park Restaurants - July 4th Fireworks Viewing (Monday, July 3, 2023)

The Beach Bar
Located on the south promenade wrapping around the south of Convention Hall overlooking the beach. An excellent spot to view the fireworks.
Open late at night, it features an upscale lounge with live music and drink specials.

The Break
This new addition to the Asbury Park Boardwalk dining scene offers outdoor, on the Boardwalk dining with scenic beachfront views. It features a menu of affordable sushi, Mexican and American dishes. Open to midnight, they offer an energetic atmosphere with a vibrant bar scene, and live music.

The Salvation at the Asbury Hotel
Located on the roof top of the Asbury Hotel, this spot offers one of the best views of the fireworks.

Located on a roof top on the boardwalk with a classic cocktail lounge vibe and stunning beachfront ocean views. They serve light, seasonal finger foods, with an excellent cocktail/drink menu. A wonderful place to meet up with friends for a July 4th celebration. They are open until 11pm.

Martell's Tiki Bar
Located on the beach from their elevated tiki bar, which looks out over the beach, or from its beach bar on the sand. This popular beach restaurant is popular with the casual party crowd as DJs spin on the beach or one of the outdoor stages. The menu offers an affordable selection of handhelds and entrees.

Independence Country Music Festival
This July 4th country music festival features two days music, festivities, food, alcohol, and fireworks. The festivities include a wine and beer garden, tractor rides, axe throwing, their Renault food truck, Sweet Shop, Village Bar, and more. They also feature VIP tent that includes seating for 10 with a coffee table, a fire pit, and great views of the main stage in the festival area.
