Restaurant Review |

Once again, this restaurants has undergone a change in ownership and chefs --- the 3rd in less than a year. As a result, we are holding off on rating this restaurant until it settles down under consistent ownership and there has been sufficient feedback to offer a meaningful rating and review. Previously owned by the Hunts, they sold the restaurant to Chef Christine Busch, who reopened it as a French bistro in October 2008, and in January 2009, the Lawrenceville Inn had been sold yet again to Sean Deasy, Chef Gaetano Guarino, and Chef Micah Asculai. Early reports appear favorable as they serve up a new, reasonably priced, Eclectic American menu. Featured starters include; Brick-Pressed Free-Range Chicken Wings; Handcrafted Pizza Rustica; and Tuna Nicoise Some of the featured dinner entrees include; Handmade Tagliatelle; Pizza Cruda; Grilled Whole Market Fish; Baked Mac n' Cheese with chicken salad focaccia potpie with chicken tenders, baby garden vegetables, herb gravy, and puff pastry. The Lawrenceville Inn is set in a charming Victorian farmhouse built in 1892 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The restaurant seats up to sixty diners in its two-story dining areas. In warmer weather, there is dining in the outdoor garden. |
