Restaurant Review
Remingtons, is an upscale fine dine dining restaurant. One of the top restaurants in the Manasquan area. With a New York City feel to it, Remington's is an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion, a romantic evening, and for a pre-show dinner at the Alqonquin Theatre.
The decor and ambiance are upscale chic, though a bit dated.
Mahogany entrance doors welcome you into the attractive dining area with dark wood trim, dark hard wood floors, a five foot long fresh water aquarium, a fireplace, large windows with views of Main Street, hand painted local beach and ocean scenes, and tables set with white table linen.
The lively mahogany bar is ideal for pre-dinner cocktails or for meeting up with friends for drinks. For a romantic occasion, ask to for a table by the fireplace.
Executive Chef chef Trevor Lloyd is adept at overseeing a well prepared, creative new American menu. He uses local products from small farms and food purveyors, with an occasional organic menu item. Many of the sea food dishes are locally caught. They offer daily specials to complement their seasonal menus.
The wait staff are well trained and professional.
There is live music/entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.
There is ample on-site parking.
Remington's can accommodate private parties from 14 to 100 people.
