The Inlet Cafe is a casual sea food restaurant located along the inlet that connects to Sandy Hook Bay featuring awesome waterfront views of the dock and NYC Skyline.
The restaurant is best enjoyed during the warmer summer months when you dine on the outdoor deck taking in the waterfront ambiance for an authentic Jersey Shore experience. This is especially a good place for meeting up with friends to relax with steamers and a beer.
The Inlet Cafe is owned and operated by brother and sister Douglas Lentz and Robin Lentz-Sundstrom. The kitchen is under the direction of Chef David Buzzelli who previously worked as the chef de cuisine at Original Oyster in the Highlands.
While the meal preparation is not exotic or in a category of fine dining, it's fresh and offers popular dishes typical of the numerous Jersey Shore restaurants.
Their signature dish is their steamers, harvested in Maine and shipped in.
Closed during the Winter
The inlet Cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating and is Child Friendly
