Recommended dishes: When available, The New York Strip Au Poivre, w/ Peppercorn Crusted, Herb, Roasted Potatoes; The Seafood Fra Diavolo w/Fettuccine, Crab, Shrimp, Clams, Spicy Pomodoro Sauce, Grilled Sourdough Crostini; and The Pan Roasted Halibut w/Lemon Risotto, Caperberry Beurre Blanc.

Owned by the Hesse Companies which also owns and operates the successful Charlie's of Lincroft.
The restaurant features two attractive, upscale contemporary dining rooms on two floors. It includes seating for 70 guests, a bar with seating for 20, and a wine room for private parties. outdoor ding during the warmer months
The kitchen is run by Executive Chef Jason Kobilis, also serving as culinary director of both Hesse Company restaurants.
Chef Koblis received his formal culinary education at the Institute of Culinary Education. Before coming to Charlies of Bayhead, Chef Koblis was Sous Chef at Iron Hill Brewery
The seasonally changing Contemporary American menu offers a decent selection of well-executed, inspiring presentations of prime dry-aged steaks, seafood, meats, homemade pastas, burgers, and pizzas.
