Outside of Atlantic City, Catelli Ristorante & Caffe is a destination restaurant and one of the most elegant, romantic, and best Italian restaurants in South Jersey.

The decor is very posh with high ceilings, and dark wood trimmings and pictures tastefully adorning the walls.

The restaurant is a popular place to celebrate special occasions.

Despite Catelli Ristorante having a romantic ambiance, it is not recommended for Valentine's Day as they are a popular destination for that occasion and tend to overbook. Even with reservations, you may find a lengthy table wait and slower service.

If you prefer a cozy, intimate dining experience, ask for a booth to the right as you enter, or a table behind bar in the area that seats approximately twenty-five diners.

Chef Lou Imbesi is a master at serving up well prepared dishes with fresh ingredients.

They offer a variety of menu options including the Chef’s tasting prix fixe menu, Lunch Stimulus Menu, the Ala Carte Dinner Menu, the Happetizers Menu, the Wine Down Wednesdays Menu, the Frugal Fridays Menu, and the Sunday Supper Family Style Dining menu.

When available, for dinner starters, try the popular: Crab Crusted Diver Scallops with Tomato butter sauce; or the Colossal Crab “Martini” with Mango papaya salsa.

When available, for dinner entrees, try the popular Center Cut Veal Rib Chop, Marinated & Grilled with mushroom marsala demi-glaze, garlic mashed potatoes, and a vegetable; or the Capellini with Crab with imported plum tomatoes, basil, lump crab, virgin olive oil, garlic white wine sauce; or the Hanger Steak, marinated, grilled & sliced, with garlic spinach, gorgonzola mashed potatoes, caramelized shallot sauce.

All entrees are served with chef’s soup of the day.
