Restaurant Review |

This BYOB restaurant, sits overlooking the canal, set back off Bridge Street. It's a pleasant lunch or dinner place if you want to take a break from shopping, or in visiting many of the art galleries in town, or if you are biking ---- it's conveniently off the bike path along the canal. They serve up excellent food at reasonable prices. The dining ambience is hip. There is an open kitchen and the carefree mood is enhanced by apple green and pale yellow walls and a waterfall alongside the staircase adds to the restaurant's eclectic atmosphere. Lily's on the Canal is located along the Delaware Canal in Lambertville, and offers alfresco dining on the patio for the lucky few who are able to land a table outside. Its also a good spot for people watching as they stroll by along the tow path For dinner, try the Fresh tortillas, or the Hummus and conch fritter, or the Butternut Squash soup for starters. For dinner entrees, try The Grilled Salmon, The Tuna, or The Filet Mignon. While it's BYOB, the offer local wines from Alba Vineyards. The acoustics are not optimum and get noisy during peak times.. The service at Lilys on the Canal is friendly and laid back. Note: Your GPS may not get you there. The restaurant is set off the road. Parking is also limited. |
