Restaurant Review

Located in a charming 6 room small hotel, The Inn of the Hawke is popular with Lambertville locals who come to get away from the tourists for good beer and healthy twists to pub food.

Located a 10 minute walk off the main area of town. this historic Inn, circa 1860's, is owned and operated by Doreen and Melissa Masset. Doreen graduated from the Restaurant School in Philadelphia and honed her culinary skills at restaurants in Philly and New York. Melissa developed her restaurant skills working at restaurants in Boston, MA.

The interior is cozy, with tavern ambiance. One of the dining rooms offers seating alongside the wood burning fireplace, a nice touch during the colder months.

During the warmer summer months there is outdoor dining on the garden patio shaded by four 100 year old sycamore trees.

It's the best bar in town and the service is very friendly with a good selection of beers, including a dozen different beers on tap and twenty-five more in bottles.

The pub food has a good selection of well prepared entrees in addition sandwiches, burgers, and hand cut fries. Many of the items on the menu depart from traditional pub fare with creative, eclectic preparations along with some light and healthy items.

The weekly changing menu uses fresh, local ingredients.

The Inn of the Hawke is family and kid friendly with a children's menu.

The Inn of the Hawke is open for lunch and dinner, seven days/week from noon till 10pm weekdays; 11pm weekends

Bar is open till midnight, and by demand, sometimes later
