Comment:There are several places to go kayaking. If you have your own kayak you can go to places like Merrill Creek, in Warren County and if you want to rent you can go to somewhere like Delaware River Tubing in Frenchtown (www.delawarerivertubing.com)

For mountain climbing, hiking and general information about other outdoor things to do in Northwest New Jersey, visit www.highlandstourism.org. The Highlands region covers 88 municipalities in northwest NJ from Frenchtown to Ringewood and there are plenty of hiking trails throughout.
