Restaurant Review
Whistlers Inn is a very popular, unpretentious, neighborhood bar with a "Cheers" ambiance and a large outdoor deck with large TV's.
They have their own smokehouse and serve good slow cooked BBQ and is especially known for their Buffalo Wings --- the best in the area.
The bar is very attractive with an antique vibe, and large flat screen TV's 6 TV's great for Philly sports events. The bar area is welcoming with wall-to-wall carpeting, dark woods, green and creme walls accentuated by old fashioned lamps. There are old-fashioned booths and cocktail tables It's more than a bar though, with a shuffleboard table, dart board.
Our deck is open all year round, with large glass garage styled doors keeping the New Jersey cold out and the warmth in during the winter, and the garage doors open up in the Spring so we can feel the breeze on our faces.
During the warmer months the huge deck has a large bar and several TV's.
This is a great place for watching a football game in the fall. It's like tailgating,
