Restaurant Review
JB's Diner, located at the intersection of Rt 537 and Rt 524 in western Freehold, a fifties themed diner with good food, and friendly service is considered to be one of the best diners in Monmouth County.
The interior is definitely fifties with chrome and red leather chairs, a large figure of Elvis Presley standing in the in the corner, fifties black and white photos and posters and other memorabilia adorn the walls with fifties classic model cars on shelves and a large "not to be used" Juke box near the entrance.
As you enter you are greeted warmly and advise to sit wherever you like.
JB's Diner is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with the daily menu available all day. The days specials are listed on a white board.
They serve excellent homemade soups and burgers with a good variety of well prepared omelets, eggs, sandwiches, and entrees served in generous portions and a very reasonable price.
They are big on classic cars and on Sunday and Monday nights during the months of April, May, June, July, August,
September, and October, they have classic car cruise nights beginning at 5 PM.
To complete that 50's feeling, JBs Diner offers carhop service during cruise nights.
