Restaurant Review

This restaurant has the best food in Point Pleasant area, and if you are looking for a fine dining experience, this is it. Dennis Foy, one of the state's founding fathers of haute cuisine, is a consummate artist, creating dishes that are beautifully presented with the finest ingredients.

The decor tends to be plain for a restaurant of this stature. In addition to being the owner and chef, Mr. Foy is an accomplished painter whose paintings of seascapes and landscapes line the walls.

The kitchen is on full view from the dining room and he can be found putting the finishing touches on his creative dishes.

The menu changes regularly with daily specials depending on local seafood and produce market conditions, however when available, popular favorites are the sauteed Atlantic fluke and braised short ribs with roasted vegetables.

Save some room for dessert, the cinnamon apple bread pudding is outstanding.

Closed during winter months, will reopen during July and August.
