The Cabin Restaurant is a landmark Freehold restaurant since 1982. A great place to meet friends for a beer and a steak, or for a family looking for decent food at a reasonable price. The place is energetic and happening.
The food is above average tavern fare with a variety of BBQ cuts, grilled steaks, chops, chicken, sea food & pizza.
You will not find any exceptionally prepared food here, but the food is good; You come to the Cabin restaurant for the good prices on food and beer, and the "happening" tavern atmosphere.
The bar scene is energetic, especially on football weekends.
The decor is what you would expect from a restaurant called the Cabin --- rustic ambiance with plenty of wooden walls, floors, open beamed ceilings, stuffed animals and sports memorabilia adorning the walls ---- along with two large bars.
They offer a good selection of domestic and imported draft and craft beers.
There is live entertainment every Thursday & Friday, It's a fun evening for all, though It can be a bit noisy, but the service is generally good.
Check out the nights with special food themes, they generally offer excellent price value.
They are family friendly with a kids menu.
