Restaurant Review

This BYOB restaurant is run by the son of the Federici restaurant family in Freehold, long known for their thin crusted pizza, and for their Southern Italian dining fare.

While the pizza is very similar to other Federici family restaurants --- excellent--- the reason diners come here is for the convenience; they have a flexible approach to servicing diners, including the acceptance of credit cards, and BYOB.

Diners should not be discouraged by the starters though; the house salad is bland with iceberg lettuce with band-aid sized, paper-thin strips of salami and cheese.

The other menu selections are good, very traditional southern Italian dishes that can be had at many other Central New Jersey Italian restaurants.

Popular favorites include, lasagna, shrimp and veal parmagiana, manicotti and linguine with clams.

The service is friendly and attentive, it's child friendly, and has on-site parking.
