Peking Pavilion stands out as one of the top Chinese restaurants in the Monmouth and Ocean County area. Owned by the Ku family, it brings fresh ingredients and a bold fusion of Chinese and French flavors. Prices are above what you might expect from most Chinese restaurants, but the ingredients and creativity shine through and make meals here feel special.

The main dining area feels modern and stylish, with lots of glass, tile, and stone. While the interior catches the eye, the hard surfaces mean it can get noisy during peak times. If you want a quieter meal, try to get a table on the upstairs balcony. Although decorated simply, the balcony stays much calmer.

The menu focuses mostly on Chinese fusion dishes, with only a handful of traditional options. Portions are generous and the beef dishes, in particular, are worth ordering. The bar is a great place to wait if your table’s not ready, offering a solid drink menu in a comfortable space.

Peking Pavilion is popular, so expect a wait during busy nights. They accept reservations only for parties of six or more, so plan ahead if you’re coming with a crowd. The restaurant is open every day, including holidays like Thanksgiving. Families are welcome and children are accommodated.
