McCormick and Schmick's Seafood and Steak's Restaurant is a high end national chain with two New Jersey locations.
This is a good place to celebrate a special occasion or for a romantic dinner.
The ambiance is upscale and the decor is attractive with dark woods, shiny brass, beveled glass, and attractive color schemes.
While seafood is their featured cuisine, they also have a good variety aged steaks, and poultry dishes. They also have a Raw Bar and Sushi dishes.
McCormick & Schmick's is committed to using locally caught seafood to supplement their more exotic fresh imported catches from Alaska, Hawaii, and the northwest. They also use local farm to table fresh products and ingredients.

During the busy Friday and Saturday evenings the noise can get to a high level, for a table with quiet conversation, ask for a private booth.

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide analytic restaurant reviews .
The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.
Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick", and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
