Recommended dishes: When available, The Churrasco grilled skirt steak with, chimichurri; The Pescado al Horno con Risoto de Calabaza with roasted branzino, caramelized butternut squash risotto, pomegranate, and mint; and The Tasajo Con Boniato braised salt-cured shredded beef, with Cuban sweet potato, and rice.

Liquor: Full bar service, with over fifty wines by the glass, featuring many affordably priced wines from Spain, Chile and Argentina, and a large selection of fine rums, original tropical drinks and a dynamic offering of craft beers and spirits.

La Isla - Uptown is a popular dining spot for diners who enjoy boldly seasoned Cuban dishes served in a festive atmosphere. A good spot for an affordable, romantic, dining experience.

La Isla Restaurant - Uptown is under the management of Chef Owner Omar Giner. Chef Giner received his formal culinary education in Culinary Arts/Chef Training at Hudson Community College. He later honed and mastered his culinary skills at the family owned La Isla- Downtown in Hoboken before opening the Uptown La Isla restaurant in 2015.

La Isla serves a well-executed, artfully crafted. Selection of Cuban food including sandwiches, steaks and chicken, desserts, and an excellent brunch, all with world-class flavors. The dinner menu features small plates.

Originally a pastry chef, Omar's desserts are some of his most popular and creative dishes. Save room for The Frozen Key Lime Pie with cilantro-lime syrup, & toasted almonds, or The Tres Leches with three milk and rum soaked sponge cake, meringue.

La Isla is open six days/week for Brunch & Dinner:
