Restaurant Review

La Couronne is a low-key Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes. The restaurant is popular with older, loyal diners who come to enjoy old world dining.

Now owned and operated by Chef Luis Dominguez who has taken over the restaurant from the original owner, Joseph Latona, Jr. who passed away in 2012, serves up a huge menu of classic Italian dishes.

The menu items are decently prepared and reasonably priced, though lacking in creativity and inspiration.

Decor is dated, with styling from several decades back. The ambiance is Old World with soft background music, soft lighting, and tables spaced apart for quiet conversation.

The service is friendly and attentive.

How Do We Review (analyze) Restaurants?

New Jersey Leisure Guide strives to provide analytic restaurant reviews .

The methodology used is research, analysis driven --- as opposed to that of a single restaurant critic or a viewer comment posting board.

Data is gathered from our viewers e-mail restaurant comments, Internet research, and professional restaurant critics. The data is sorted, (weeding out the obvious biased, "bone to pick",  and out of consensus comments), analyzed, and the review is created.
