Judy & Harry’s at The St. Laurent brings a lively mix of Jewish and Italian-American cooking to Asbury Park. The setting balances polish and comfort, which suits the refined yet inviting menu.

The restaurant sits inside the historic St. Laurent Hotel, a restored landmark operated by women since 1886. The story adds heart to the experience and gives judy and harrys restaurant a sense of place at the Jersey Shore.

An intimate eight-seat counter at Judy’s, tucked at the back of the dining room, offers a front-row view of the action. Alongside it, Harry’s bar and lounge provides a chic spot for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap.

The concept comes from Chef David Viana and Neilly Robinson, partners behind respected New Jersey spots like Heirloom Kitchen, Abramzon & David’s Delicatessen in Old Bridge, and Lita and La Otra in Aberdeen. Viana is a three-time James Beard Award nominee with time at Eleven Madison Park and the Michelin two-star Villa Joya in Portugal.

At Judy’s, the a la carte menu features small plates built for sharing and larger dishes for the table. The food blends comfort and flair. Think elevated Italian, local produce, and smart global touches that refresh familiar flavors without losing their soul.

Design details connect back to Robinson’s parents, Judy and Harry, whose influence shapes both the menu and the mood. The space feels personal, stylish, and relaxed, which fits the hospitality on the floor.

Judy & Harry’s is open Wednesday through Monday for dinner. It is a standout choice for high-end dining inside one of Asbury Park’s most iconic addresses.
