DeAnna's Restaurant is a popular favorite with the locals who come for reasonably priced homemade pasta dishes and traditional favorites prepared with fresh, local ingredients.
The decor is eclectic, cozy with a funky Greenwich Village vibe. It's a popular place for a date or getting together with family or friends.
The interior of this 30-seat restaurant gives off a warm ambiance with soothing soft candlelight lighting, terra cotta-colored walls, and colorful artwork adorning the walls.
The featured attraction is a cozy, three-sided bar, with a giant peacock hanging above it and cozy red lamps at the corner. It's tended to by Armand, the restaurant's friendly and efficient bartender.
Chef/proprietor Dianna Paterra oversees the preparation of simply prepared dishes using locally grown organic greens and produce whenever possible. The pasta is made daily from semolina and durham flour.
While there are some bright spots to the menu, there are many shortcomings that prevent the food from achieving a higher rating.
Offers Vegan, Vegetarian options, and Gluten free Pasta
Deanna's Restaurant service is friendly and courteous, though often slow to respond.
During the warmer summer months, they offer al fresco dining with one of the seating areas covered with a canvas canopy, and the other dining area further back offers open air seating scattered amongst a water fountain and a few herb garden plantings.
On-site parking is available.
