Federici's is a very popular, long time favorite with locals and families, especially if you enjoy good thin crusted pizza and having an alcoholic beverage served with your meal. Long known as one of the better thin crusted pizzerias' in Central New Jersey, of recent years they have lost this distinction with increased competition serving up better thin crusted pizza. While their toppings are excellent with fresh, tasty ingredients, the crust is less than stellar, with crusted/hardened edges. It's cash only -- with a bar, and serves traditional southern Italian fare. Their recommend pizza selection is the "special" with sausage, mushrooms and peppers. The popular entrees include, shrimp eggplant parmigiana, lasagna, manicotti, and linguini with clams. They are very child friendly with an upstairs room that caters to large families or groups with small kids.Outside seating during the summer months makes this place a good people watching beer and pizza place. |
