Restaurant Review

The Skillet is an upscale-casual breakfast & brunch restaurant, serving an eclectic menu of creatively prepared, healthy, sustainable & organic food, tucked away in the rear of the Mounts Corner shopping center.

The Skillet is a family run operation, with owners Sal Faenza and his wife Nancy.

Sal Faenza has strong ties and experience in working with high quality food purveyors, and customer-focused skills, acquired by having been one of the founders of the successful Tuscany Italian Market in the Freehold, Manalapan, Marlboro area.

The food is creatively prepared using local purveyors fresh, sustainable, organic food, and free-range eggs. While their main entrees are tasty & healthy, their signature coffees and homemade pastries, are not to be missed.

The decor is modern with a touch of elegance, done up with chandeliers and mirrored walls. However, with limited noise abatement fixtures, during busy times, the noise level can get to be high.

The Skillet is family friendly serving a children's menu. However, they are unable to accept carriages and strollers.

The Skillet does not take reservations, and is open seven days/week serving a breakfast, brunch, lunch menu.
