Morris County First Night is a non-alcoholic event in Morristown that takes place from 4:45pm-midnight. Over 400 artists and 80 performers are scheduled to attend this year's celebration. Free parking and shuttle bus service will be provided. For one unbelievably reasonable price, you have dozens of venues to choose from, showcasing world-class talent with performances designed especially for kids, teens, young adults, families, and not-so-young adults. If that's not enough, First Night sets off not one but two separate fireworks displays – one at 9:15pm and another at midnight!

Celebrate the coming New Year with this Scottish tradition. Toss all of last year's bad memories into the fire symbolizing a clean break with all that went wrong in the old year. A bagpiper will be onsite to entertain the crowd and the house will be open. Paper and pencils will also be available for you to write down all the bad things from the previous year that you wish to toss into the fire. You are also invited to prepare a list in advance and bring it to the fire.
Parking Information!!! Parking will be offsite at the Prism complex on Lenox Drive. Visitors are asked to enter the lot at the light on Princeton Pike and Lenox Drive. Follow the road to one of the rear lots, where you can either walk a lighted trail to Brearley House or board a shuttle bus

The Battleship will open her decks for guests to watch the 6pm or Midnight SugarHouse New Year's Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront. We'll have music, food concessions and bar service. We will open her decks two hours before each show – 4pm for the 6pm fireworks show and 10pm for the midnight show. Come aboard for just a $10 donation per person. All proceeds go to the on-going restoration of the Battleship, a non-profit museum and memorial. Fire the 5-inch gun at the conclusion of the 6pm and Midnight Fireworks! We'll offer chances for guests to pull the trigger and fire this historic gun on New Year's Eve!
Tickets are available by calling 866-877-6262 ext. 108, or at the Battleship's Ticket Office, open every day from 9:30am to 3pm, except Christmas Day, and prior to both the 6pm and Midnight shows on New Year's Eve. Both SugarHouse New Year's Eve Fireworks on the Waterfront shows are free to Battleship Members.

Hammonton is known as the "Blueberry Capital of the World."
This festive family celebration will ring in the the new year with great food, free party giveaways, live band, FIREWORKS and plenty of good cheer.
When the town clock strikes midnight, a giant blueberry will drop from high above the festivities and signal the official start of 2019.
The giant 10-foot-in-diameter lighted blue metal ball is almost as large as the one now in New York City's Times Square, which is 12 feet in diameter.
The blueberry is computer-controlled with hundreds of lights and more than 10 feet in diameter, which is almost as large as the famous ball dropped in New York City's Time Square. For those in the Hammonton area, a live televised broadcast of the festivities will be held on the Town's TV Station, Comcast Channel 9, and it will also be streamed live worldwide on
Free party hats and noisemakers will be given to the first 300 guests.
Mimic, a Philadelphia Area premier party band, will entertain guests with a free outdoor concert. Fire spinners will twirl and juggle fire during free live performances throughout the night. The band and fire spinners will kick off the celebration on a stage in front of Hammonton Town Hall at 10:30pm through midnight.
In addition there will be lots of things to do in Hammonton for both families with young kids and adults before the dropping of the The "Giant Blueberry"

This family oriented New Years Eve celebration will give kids the opportunity kids to ring-in the New Year and still get to bed at a reasonable hour. The theme of the celebration this year will be "From Sea to Shining Sea."
The family activities will begin at the Gymnasium (above) with dancing, entertainment, food and refreshments and an early countdown to midnight with a falling crystal ball at 7:00 p.m. The evening will "end with a bang" at the JFK Boulevard Beach at 8:00 p.m. with a Fireworks display.
Reservations are required (limited space availability), admission is with a "dessert" and children must be accompanied by an adult.

The awesome fireworks show is best viewed from the boardwalk outside the casino.The show, designed by Fireworks by Grucci, will be displayed from the beachfront and will include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects including Grucci high aerials and grand illuminations.
It is recommended that you get there by 8 pm to avoid the crowds and get a good spot.
