Hot Dog Tommy’s isn’t just a food stand—it’s a local legend. Where else but Cape May would you find a guy in a floppy hot dog hat serving up top-notch dogs and bottom-tier jokes? And somehow, it fits perfectly into this otherwise refined seaside town.
Owned and operated by Bruce—better known as Hot Dog Tommy—this one-man show is as much about the experience as the food. Bruce is known for his warm personality, goofy charm, and a genuine love for chatting with everyone who stops by, whether they’re new faces or longtime regulars.
Tucked inside a colorful, walled-in stand, Hot Dog Tommy’s serves up the best dogs in town. Choose from the Leaner Wiener (easy on the wallet but still fully loaded) or go all in with the juicy Black Angus Dog. All dogs are made with Berks Brand franks—the same ones served at Hershey Park, PA—and they're all certified gluten-free.
Plant-based? No problem. They’ve got vegan dogs and gluten-free buns too.
Need something quick, tasty, and affordable? This is your spot for fast service and quality wieners.
Open seasonally from May through October, seven days a week. Don’t miss it.
