Good Earth Organic Eatery is Cape May’s only 100% organic restaurant, and a hidden gem for those seeking fresh, wholesome food. 

This unassuming, counter-service café draws in health-conscious diners, vegetarians, and curious carnivores alike with its thoughtful, seasonal menu of Italian-inspired vegan and seafood dishes.

Don’t be deterred by the quaint, old-fashioned exterior or its off-the-beaten-path location—once inside, you’ll find a cozy, welcoming space that reflects the restaurant’s heart and soul.

Family-owned and operated by Contrano Rosettani and Hilary Keevert, Good Earth Organic Eatery was born from their journey from Le Marche, Italy to Cape May in 2012. They brought with them a passion for Italian cuisine, a dedication to scratch cooking, and a deep respect for natural ingredients.

Their food celebrates fresh, locally sourced produce and sustainably caught seafood, allowing the true flavors to shine.

The menu, displayed on a large board above the open kitchen, offers a rotating selection of beautifully plated organic vegan and fish-based dishes, many of which are gluten-free. From hearty soups and fresh salads to flavorful sandwiches, pasta, and entrees, every dish is prepared with care. Even the coffee—made from roasted barley and served with almond milk—is a unique, caffeine-free delight.

In the kitchen, everything is made with intention. Homemade breads are crafted from natural sourdough starter, cooked exclusively in stainless-steel cookware—no microwaves, no canned goods, ever.

The dining area is intimate and relaxed, with seating for about 30 guests. Earth-toned walls and gentle background music create a peaceful ambiance. During warmer months, guests can enjoy outdoor seating on the gravel-covered patio shaded by umbrellas.

Good Earth Organic Eatery is open year-round, though hours may vary seasonally.
