Tucked away on a side street, The Fig and Lily Garden restaurant is a welcomed addition to the Morristown dining scene. This popular restaurant is a safe Covid-19 dining spot for both indoor and outdoor year-round dining.

The restaurant features a terraced, secluded, spacious garden patio and in response to the global has extended its outdoor dining season through the year with the addition of private, propane heated, plastic igloos for groups of up to eight diners. All igloos are sanitized after each guest,

Their year-round outdoor dining setup is as much a draw as their wonderful menu.

The Eastern Mediterranean menu has a nice variety of falafels from lamb to okra, grape leaves, and Muhammara (smoked bell pepper and tomato blended with garlic, hot pepper, olive oil and seasonal herb,

The food is creatively presented and prepared using locally sourced ingredients with fresh, flavorful meat charcoal grilled. They also use imported Eastern Mediterranean ingredients and cooking methods to achieve authentic tastes.

The indoor decor and ambiance are cozy, and upscale with walls having exposes brick and fig leaf and lily garden murals. Tables comfortably spaced apart for Corvid compliance and quiet conversation.

The service is friendly, attentive, and COVID-19 conscious. The dinnerware (plates and silverware) come pre-sealed in plastic. The server cuts open the package in front of you, without touching your dinnerware. However, there is a $8 per bottle water charge that the wait staff sometimes neglects to inform diners, and that tap water is not offered,

An ideal spot for a date or romantic celebration.

The outdoor courtyard is attractively decorated and in the colder months, the fire pits and heat lamps complement the cozy scene.

Note: $200 minimum limit with a 2hr max time for igloo dining

The Fig and Garden is open seven days/week for Lunch & Dinner, with Brunch served during summer weekends.
