This is restaurant is popular with the 40+ crowd that comes here to celebrate a special occasion with family, friends or for a power business dinner with a client. The redesigned restaurant is large and spread out in three different dining areas. The main dining room, the Gold room, and the Wine room. If you are planning a special occasion or a romantic dinner, try and be seated in the wine room with a candlelit grotto, French windows and wooden racks for hundreds of bottles of wine. The attention from the wait staff can't be beat and you are made to feel right at home. The staff is professional, well trained, and exceptionally attentive as they hoover over your table to attend to your needs. However, lately there have been inconsistent patron experiences with the quality of food. While it still rates high, there have been reports that it has fallen off from ranking with some of the best restaurants in the state for food. The food is well prepared and creative, although on the pricey side. For starters, the popular dishes are: Prosciutto di Parma with melon, The Torta di Granchio crab cake with carrot apple salad and orange mustard vinaigrette, and the Melanzana ai Ferri grilled eggplant and goat cheese rollatini with tomato & black olive salsa. For entrees, the popular dishes are: Osso Bucco, veal shank with risotto Milanese, The Vitello ai Ferri
double center cut grilled veal chop with vegetables, and The Pollo Ricoperto,
lemon glazed breast of free range chicken stuffed with fennel accompanied by wild rice & Savoy cabbage |
