Restaurant Review

Christopher's restaurant is a good choice for dining if you are planning to go to the theater, or staying at the Heldrich Hotel, or are looking for a sophisticated dining spot with a vibrant bar scene.

This restaurant complements the swanky, modern decor of the Heldrich hotel it resides in.

The attractive large bar, across the hall from the restaurant is a popular and trendy gathering place with the happy hour crowd, and for diners looking to enjoy a pre-dinner or post-theater cocktail in an elegant setting.

Christopher’s Restaurant also serves a bar menu.

The restaurant is large with seating for over 200. The decor is contemporary with high exposed ceilings,  lighting shining down over the tables in the three dining areas, and an open kitchen with stainless steel counter tops as the focal point of activity.

In most towns in NJ, Christopher's Restaurant would shine as one of it's top restaurants. However, in New Brunswick with many excellent destination restaurants to choose from, the quality and creativity of their food is below par when compared to the choices available to diners in New Brunswick.

The limited menu is eclectic, and of good quality, though many of the items are uninspiring.

The service at Christopher's Restaurant is friendly, though slow at times.
