Restaurant Review

Looking for exceptional Japanese - European fusion fare with out breaking the bank? This is it!

Aozora serves up very creative dishes in an unpretentious atmosphere.

The restaurant excels in serving creative, colorful, and imaginative Japanese dishes with a European influence. Their presentations are equally matched by its taste and quality ingredients.

Their sushi and duck are outstanding and don't miss the Bailey's and Grand Marnier sauces, served with the Broomfield Roll of tempura salmon and asparagus. There is also a selection of traditional western dishes, like crab cakes, to be had. Desserts are well prepared, especially the chocolate cake and cheesecake.

This is a winning combination for Japanese fusion fare that is hard to beat.

The service is attentive and friendly.

The decor is contemporary with an upscale, yet casual ambiance.

The ordering process can be a bit confusing. Diners are provided with three menus and a pencil. There is the regular menu, the specials menu, and the third menu is a paper menu for the Sushi bar with items to be checked off.

It's BYOB, and if you arrive without a bottle, there is a little liquor store down the street.

Aozora is open seven days/week. Sunday .-Thursday 12:00 - 10:00 pm; Friday: 12:00 - 10:30 pm; and Saturday: 2:30 - 10:30 pm

They also offer on-line ordering with free delivery.
