The Gables Restaurant located one block from the ocean in a charming circa 1900 Victorian B&B is one of the more upscale restaurants in LBI.
This is an ideal place for a romantic dining experience.
Dining is offered in three areas; The main dining room gives off an old world Victorian ambiance with dark red walls, a wood burning fireplace, a crystal chandelier, and original wide plank floors. The tables are set with linen and soft candles.
During the warmer months there is outdoor dining on the porch and in the garden courtyard highlighted by a water fountain and numerous flowers.
For a romantic dinner during the cooler months, ask for a table by the fireplace.
They serve a seasonally changing menu with daily specials. They strive to use fresh locally grown produce supplemented by micro greens from Blue Moon Acres, Buckingham, PA, and organic meats from Niman Ranch organic meats, and organic poultry from D'Artagnan farms. Sea food is brought in from local waters with lobsters shipped in fresh from from Maine.
The Gables Restaurant is open during the following seasons:
The Summer Season (mid-June through mid-September: Open 7 nights for dinner, Sunday for brunch Dinner served from 5:30pm; Sunday brunch (excellent) served 9:00am-2:00pm.
They are also open holidays on Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.
The Gables Restaurant also hosts private parties.
