Restaurant Review

The Gables Restaurant, located one block from the ocean, is set in a charming circa 1900 Victorian B&B, and is one of the more upscale restaurants in LBI.

This is an ideal place for a romantic dining experience.

Dining is offered in three areas; The main dining room gives off an old world Victorian ambiance with dark red walls, a wood burning fireplace, a crystal chandelier, and original wide plank floors. The tables are set with linen and soft candles.

During the warmer months there is outdoor dining on the porch and in the garden courtyard highlighted by a water fountain and numerous flowers.

For a romantic dinner during the cooler months, ask for a table by the fireplace.

They serve a seasonally changing menu with daily specials. They strive to use fresh locally grown produce supplemented by micro greens from Blue Moon Acres, Buckingham, PA, and organic meats from Niman Ranch organic meats, and organic poultry from D'Artagnan farms. Sea food is brought in from local waters with lobsters shipped in fresh from from Maine.

During the warmer months there is outside dining on the front porch and in the back garden patio.

The Gables Restaurant is open nightly for dinner during the summer season, and every weekend during the fall and spring.
They are also open holidays on Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.

The Gables Restaurant also hosts private parties.
