Restaurant Review

Latour restaurant is an upscale, "old world" contemporary French restaurant and a ideal place for a romantic dining experience or to celebrate a special occasion with family or friends.

Latour restaurant is very popular with the high income 55+ dining patrons.

Chef-owner Michael Latour a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island, and honed his skills at Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons in Manhattan, and at the former L'Auberge de France in Wayne, NJ.

The  seasonal menu changes twice a year with items that are well prepared, attractively presented French cuisine with a contemporary flair.

The setting gives off a European feel with it's timber-framed house located near the Ridgewood train station. The interior is elegant and cozy with wooden floors, pressed tin ceilings, attractive colorful window treatments, soft lighting, and tables set with linen, candles, and fresh flowers. There's a small Eiffel Tower hanging over a door frame, some framed photos on the walls, and knick-knacks by the picture window in front.

The service at Latour restaurant is friendly and professional, though slightly pretentious.

They are family and Child friendly with a kids Menu.

Latour Restaurant is open 6 days/week: For Dinner Tuesday - Thursday 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday & Saturday 5:00pm - 11:00pm, and Sunday 4:00pm - 9:00pm. For Lunch Tuesday - Friday 11:30am -2:30pm
