Iccara Italian Bistro, located just steps from the Washington Street Mall in Cape May, ranks among the town's top BYOB Italian dining spots. It features a carefully curated menu served in a chic, modern atmosphere.

The bistro is owned and operated by Chef Vincenzo Sanzone, who grew up in the Sicilian town of Iccara—now known as Carini. Though the name has changed, Iccara remains close to his heart, inspiring both the restaurant’s name and its culinary spirit.

Chef Sanzone brings the flavors of coastal Sicily to Cape May, featuring a menu of traditional Italian favorites made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. House-made pastas, fresh seafood, and a range of vegetarian and allergy-conscious options round out the offerings.

The intimate dining room exudes cozy charm, with deep blue walls adorned with hand-painted murals celebrating Italy’s heritage. White marble tables and dark linen napkins add a touch of elegance to the relaxed atmosphere.

Iccara is family-friendly, with a dedicated kids’ menu, and convenient parking is available nearby at Washington Commons with a discounted fee.

The bistro operates with seasonal hours, so be sure to check ahead before visiting.
