Restaurant Review

The Rams Head Inn is an old world, elegant restaurant set on five acres with beautiful gardens and flower lined fences.

Located just eight miles from Atlantic City, they serve well prepared classic American cuisine and are a more reserved alternative to the glitzy AC casino restaurant scene.

This is fine country dining with warm, old style elegant ambiance, and an ideal place to celebrate a special occasion or for a family Sunday Brunch. The dining patrons are typically the upscale 50 + crowd who enjoy dressing up for a fine dining experience.

The interior has several dining rooms with wood-burning fireplaces, soft candlelight, and tables spaced apart for quiet, cozy dining. For a romantic occasion, asked to be seated at a table in front of the roaring fireplace, or be sure to ask for the Garden Room. On Friday and Saturday evenings you can enjoy drinks and live music in the Tavern Room.

The food at the Rams Head Inn is well prepared and attractively presented. Produced is sourced locally from Pleasantdale Farm, owned by the Knowles family the same owners of the Rams Head Inn. The produce is grown pesticide-free.

The menu selections are traditional, classic offerings, mostly well prepared traditional dishes with little if any creative dishes. You are not likely to find an item on the menu that is unique or you have not tried before.

The wait staff are very professional, friendly, and anticipatory.

The Rams Head Inn is dog friendly with five dog-friendly tables outside.

The Rams Head Inn features holiday dinners on Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day, Easter and New Year's Eve.
