Restaurant Review

The Langosta Lounge , located across from the Stone Pony, is an Asbury Park boardwalk hot spot, popular with the 20 + to 40+ crowd who come to enjoy a lively bar, good music, and reasonably priced food and drinks, in an attractive beach front setting with ocean views.

The place is owned by Marilyn Schlossbach, a Jersey Shore native and a well-known local restaurateur with ownership in Pop's Garage, Asbury Park Yacht Club, the Labrador Lounge, Russell & Bette's in Rumson

The restaurant gives off a trendy, rustic beach themed ambiance with a bit of Jersey Shore honky tonk, with ceiling lights serving as beacons from underwater movies, a lit up Buddha head, marble pineapple lamps, and various other mementos adorning the walls.

The  menu offers a wide selection of eclectic combinations of dishes from different countries using fresh ingredients from locally sourced seafood and produce.

Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

The service is friendly, though tends to be rushed on busy weekend evenings.

During the warmer months there is outdoor dining on the boardwalk with a view of the beach and the ocean.

Great for people watching along the boardwalk

Langosta Lounge is Family Friendly. They offer a kids menu.

Langosta Lounge is open seven days/ week for Lunch & Dinner and for Sunday Comfort Brunch: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
