Restaurant Review

Located in a small food court setting near the end of the Ocean City Boardwalk, the Hula Grill is a popular casual family restaurant serving Hawaiian inspired dishes with South Pacific/Jersey shore ambiance.

The Hula Grill is a refreshing, healthy alternative to the many fried food and pizza restaurants that dominate the boardwalk.

The Hawaiian inspired menu includes many seafood, pork, chicken items as well as salads, burgers, hot dogs, fries, and even Hawaiian pizza ---- yes New Jersey Italian-Americans, pizza with pineapple.

Dinner entrees come with sticky rice and a salad with papaya dressing.

Owned and operated by David Rihl, Head Chef.  Chef Rihl honed his culinary skills in Hawaii where he developed his recipes and famous Hula sauces for an authentic taste of Hawaiian cooking.

The service is a notch above the many other Boardwalk restaurants, friendly and attentive. The ordering process involves placing your inside and the waitstaff brings it out to you.

Seating at the outside tables can be a bit hectic during the peak summer season. Tables are full? --- Just a short wait as the tables turn over quickly.

The Hula Grill is family friendly with a Kids Menu.

Hula Grill is a seasonal restaurant open from mid-May till mid-October, seven days/week from 11:00 am - 9:00 pm
