When available, Lobster Pot Pie w/ Fresh Lobster, Veggies, Creamy Sauce, Flaky Pastry Topping; Guinness Braised Short Ribs w/ Creamy Mushroom Polenta; and the Bone-in Pork Loin Chop w/ Chunky Mashed Potato, Roasted Grape Pan Sauce, House Veggies.



Restaurant Review


Alycia's Bistro is one of the top restaurants in Freehold. This restaurant separates itself from the many mediocre, Freehold family run restaurants with it's creative, scratch menu.


Owned and operated by Alycia and her husband Michael Frances, this 120 seat bistro is situated on on two floors with the main dining room on the first floor providing seating for 38.


The attractive interior has a casual, modern feel with soft tan walls, dark wooden floors, and wooden tables set with woven place mats. There is a huge script along the wall of the stairs leading up to the 2nd floor with their theme "Love, Laugh, Eat".


The main reason to dine at Alycia's Bistro is for the carefully prepared dishes made with fresh farm to table ingredients.

Co-owner/Chef Alycia received formal culinary training at the French Culinary Institute in New York City.


The seasonally changing menu is prepared from scratch using local fresh farm to table, seasonal ingredients grown in Chesterfield, NJ. Menu items are prepared using using non-frozen or re-heated ingredients


Chef Alycia's contemporary menu has a variety if items with a variety of influences. The Italian influence acquired from her Italian family background and the Southern USA, French and Thai influences, from her formal training


The desserts are excellent with a nice variety of home made desserts.


There is limited on-site parking, still a plus for downtown Freehold.


Outside dining on the wrap around porch is available during the warmer months.


Private parties can be hosted for up to 60 people.


Alycia's Bistro is open Sundays, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm; Tuesdays 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm; Wednesdays 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm; Thursdays 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm; Fridays 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm; and Saturdays 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
