A cornerstone of Flemington’s dining scene, The Market Roost charms visitors with its scratch-made comfort, warm hospitality, and culinary artistry.

Owned by husband-and-wife duo Norman and Carol Todd, this beloved spot blends Norman’s fine-dining expertise with Carol’s pastry wizardry, creating a destination as delightful for brunch as it is for afternoon tea.

A Culinary Institute of America grad, Chef Norman brings decades of experience (from California to Florida) to dishes like the iconic Eggs Benedict—topped with velvety house-made hollandaise. Their Seasonal brunch specials keep regulars coming back.

The pastry case gleams with Carol’s from-scratch treats, including her famed artisanal scones (think lemon-currant, cranberry-pecan, apricot-almond, or chocolate-cappuccino chip).

Order at the counter, then settle into the cozy, eclectic dining room adorned with shelves of gourmet goods and kitchenware for sale. Soft music and rustic wood accents set a relaxed, homey vibe.

They offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options ensure no one misses out.

The service is welcoming and attentive, particularly Carol herself, who often greets diners personally and ensures every visit feels special.

Whether savoring flaky scones with tea or digging into a Benedict piled high, The Market Roost turns every meal into a moment to cherish.
